How to swap bottle to cup for milk

Hi

does anyone have any advice on how to swap bottle to cup? My 15M old happily drinks water from a straw cup but ive tried 3 different cups with milk and she just refuses it. Do i keep offering or give her s bottle if she refuses? She eats well for her meals so not worried about calories. She has 2 bottles (am &pm)

thanks

Just do it. She doesn’t need to drink milk if she is getting enough calcium from other sources. She needs 350 mg of calcium a day, this can include milk in cereal, yoghurt , cheese and custard. You can also get cereal and bread for fortified with calcium.

Will she drink it from an open cup ?
i agree with pp that she doesn’t need to drink milk if she’s getting enough calcium elsewhere

My little one still has two feeds bf and she is 20 months old, still offer if she wants it it’s very normal for that age :)
she also has a bottle of cow milk before bed, I haven’t made the transition yet because she likes it but she’s great with other bottles too! Just a bit more messy when she wants to sprinkle it lol 😂
maybe offer again once a week to see if she changes mind but no rush :) or ask before putting milk in which bottle or cup preferred ? Xx
