Baby unsettled - nutramigen and carobel! What now

So from get go baby has had reflux, I was given carobel to add to formula. I’ve not used with every feed but yet when I do use with feeds I wouldn’t say it’s made a difference. I’m also unsure if it causes constipation

I then mentioned to doctor about milk allergy as seen that can sometimes be caused of reflux, my parents said she seemed more content on nutramigen during her feeds but now it seems to be changing again that she’s fed then crying through feed and afterwards. Last night she was making constant grunty noises which then settled..she’s always made grunt noises but not so much..she’s been on nutra for few weeks now and she keeps feeds down more but also this week (week 7) she feeds and then looks for more feed but can then be sick!

her average feeds last week was 60ml this week shes 90ml which seems to keep down but wants more then that’s when sickness can happen! I feel contused because its so difficult knowing. I notice she puts her hand to her mouth and starts chewing on it even after feed..
i feel caught
is it reflux and will it get easier..right now even when she isn’t feeding she will only be in arms because laying flat is worst to her..even her sides she wakes up because of the legs/grunting

I’m unsure if constipated but tried baths/massage
I also had her on kendamil before where she pooped instantly during feeds but not anymore with nutra! - what do I do?
she is gaining weight though recently did have scare of slow weight gain.. ahhh

(bf and formula fed - Nutramigen (60/90ml average 7 weeks old - bf 10-20 mins then she looks for feed average 2 hours, 3 hours max.)
paeditrain said 60ml fine every 3 hours, HV said no every 2 hours and to feed over that as its not enough

I think you've posted before but I can't remember my advice on that one so sorry if I'm repeating.

Has LO been checked for Tongue Tie?

I am currently going through something similar with my baby. She is 5 weeks old, she started of on kendamil organic as i had heard that was the best but she seemed to be constipated with that and then friends and family recommended Hipp organic which i used but then she developed reflux problems. She was prescribed gaviscon for her reflux which led to constipation and she started getting blood in her stool due to straining. Yesterday we ended up in A&E and the consultant prescribed her Nutramigen but she is currently hating the taste and fighting the bottle. I am really stressed and it’s heartbreaking seeing her suffering and staying hungry.

Did they suggest adding anything to it to make it more palatable? Usually they advise Nesquik or Vanilla Essence.

hey! I am literally in the exact same boat with my LO. Originally prescribed gaviscon, no luck. Prescribed nutramigen been on almost 12 days and after the first 2 we saw a massive improvement. Had the odd bad day but nothing compared to how he was before. Last couple days he’s been a bit unsettled during and after feeds, sick (watery phlegm like). Don’t know if it’s down to reflux or nutramigen. We have a review on Wednesday next week and I’m still as confused as when we first started his trial! I’m going to try some carobel in the nutramigen and see if it helps as I don’t know if it’s just too thin for him it’s not settling in his stomach well. The first few days we were on it he was having up to 10 loose nappies a day and now that’s settled I don’t know whether it’s coming up the other way instead! Im a nursery nurse so I know about children but this is my First baby and feel completely clueless apart from google! Noted you posted February just wondered how you got on and if you ever found a cure x
