Looking for some advice on my sons routine. He is 9 months old. This it his current feeding routine, he's really into breakfast but not a massive eater at lunch and dinner most days but has low milk intake in the day;
6:30/7am - breakfast
7:30 - 6oz milk offered (will usually take 4)
10:30 - 6oz milk offered (will usually take 3/4oz)
11:30 - lunch
14:30 - 6oz milk offered (will usually take 2-4oz)
15:00 - snack
17:30 - dinner
18:30 - 6oz milk offered (will usually only take about 2oz)
23:00-02:00 will wake for night feed and he will take whatever I offer him and finish it. I had only been offering 4oz in an attempt to begin night weaning but have been giving him about 6oz the last week and he's guzzling it all
So he's not really filing up before bed which is the problem. I'm not sure if I need to drop a day feed either the 10:30 or 14:30 one in the hope he'll take more at his other feeds? I mean obviously it would be nice to drop the night feed but it just feels like a vicious circle at the moment
Before weaning he was polishing off 8oz at a time but we seem to have regressed back to tiny baby sized feeds hence why I think there could possibly be too many?
Any suggestions welcome! 🤗
