Colic/reflux advice/help!!!!!

Looking for helpful tips/advice on the above. Had to take my 4 week old son to A&E a few days ago for inconsolable crying and drawing his legs up after feeding/being very uncomfortable after feeds and just not settling despite trying everything. He also barely sleeps.
The paediatrician said it’s “just colic” normal fussy baby which is really not helpful but possibly reflux but more likely colic. He doesn’t bring much up or spit up much and doesn’t seem more unsettled on his back so this is why they think not reflux. However if I lay him down too soon he does always spit up but guess this is normal for a baby??
However he does match some silent reflux symptoms. arches back, sticks out his tongue does look like he has a horrible taste in his mouth sometimes, hiccups a lot, constant hand sucking.
He cried pretty much the whole of yesterday, squirming around, constantly sucking his hands despite being EBF on demand and just going stiff like a plank. I’m unsure if the constant feeding is adding to the problems and making him more gassy and Uncomfortable but he looks constantly
hungry?
I bought colief yesterday, have tried infacol which helped slightly and have gaviscon to try in a week if no improvement. It’s horrible to watch, I feel like I’m losing my mind and I hate seeing him uncomfortable.
I did also try cutting out dairy which is hard work as he does have a rash that comes and goes but have been told is baby acne. his poos have been loser recently and what I would describe as shinier/slimier but have been told by HV and doctor they are not mucus as mucus would be pure stringy and very obvious. They have simply just changed texture.
it’s heartbreaking seeing him so upset every time I feed him to the point I dread BF.
any tips/ advice???

Poor thing, it's awful.

I would keep going on the no dairy, also no beef. It can take up to 3 weeks to leave your system, so you do need to persist.

Try keeping him upright for half an hour after every feed as well.

Is he gaining well?

Sounds like he's going through a growth spurt and sounds like he's got bad wind

Not growth spurt sorry sounds like he's cluster feeding which is normal

OP is he getting really upset when you offer feeds? My baby would do this and I was convinced something was medically wrong with him! Turns out he has a feeding aversion that stemmed from me trying to get him to feed constantly (he had dropped a couple of percentiles so my anxiety was through the roof).

if you are EBF there is no harm in cutting out dairy to see if it does actually help
