How much food? 2 weeks old

Everything I've read suggests that at 2 weeks old we should feed 60-90ml (2-3oz) per feed because their stomachs are so small.
My boy was 6lb10 when he was born, dropped to 6lb4 at the first check and up to 6lb7 at the next one so he's not the biggest baby but he's finishing 90ml at each feed then sometimes looking for more.
Am I going to overfeed if I make up 120ml bottles and let him finish them??

The rule is if they finish bottles you make up more Wink

There isn't a rule on age either, it goes on weight of your baby. How much does he weigh?

He was 6lb7 at the last check a few days ago

Ok so it's 2.5 Floz (74 ml) per pound per day.

So if he's 6 lb 7 oz that's almost 3 kilos so he should be having between 450 ml and 600 ml in 24 hours.

Does they seem about right?

Yeah, he's currently averaging about 550ml a day so he's already nearing the upper end of what he should be getting. Just not sure about giving him more in each feed because I'm conscious of how small his stomach is

I'd still be tempted to up the feeds. He might take it, he might not but there is a thing called "catching up" where they take more, find a higher centile and stick with it.

They can also go down. My DD was 8 lb 3 oz but went she in the centiles. She's stayed in the new centile from about 3 months. She's in Y11 now and still on the sane centile Wink

Yeah we are, he's quite good at taking breaks whenever he needs them and we'll have a few pauses for burp breaks.
