Baby gagging and laryngomalacia

Hi! I really need some advice please. We are being referred to paediatrics for my daughter who we suspect has laryngomalacia (soft & floppy voice box) which is causing my 10 month old to gag on every bit of solid food that isn’t puréed.
I’m really anxious about feeding her anyway, and when she gags she’s often been sick which of course is worrying when it’s so often.
Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any tips? I’m worried that she’ll miss the ‘starting point’ for when babies should be eating solids. Has anyone had a baby who ate puréed food for longer than usual?

No experience of that @Pinkrose19 but my DS would only have super smooth purées until 12 months due to Tongue Tie.

It doesn't seem to have affected him. He's a teen now and will eat absolutely anything Wink
