Gaviscon or Anti Reflux Formula?

My son is 10 weeks old, has always had mild issues with feeding, wind, hiccups etc but never sicked up.

Since his injections he's like a different baby. Crying/kicking/squirming etc during feeds, sicking up milk, very clingy/doesn't like to lie down. First few days I expected but today is day 10 of this.

Health visitor and nurse think he had silent reflux before but then the jabs have made it worse.

Doctor I'm hoping will prescribe gaviscon on Monday.
My worry with gaviscon is constipation. Would it me best to give him gaviscon until he improves then switch over to reflux formula?
Not sure what to do for the best. Hope someone can advice!

Reflux formula is constipating too, so it’s not a great alternative. The GP will probably offer gaviscon. If you try that and it’s too constipation or it doesn’t work they’ll offer omeprazole which is usually effective and without bad side effects.

That's great thank you!
