Going back to work, baby refuses bottle, help!

I'm going back to work (~half WFH) on Monday and my 7mo still refuses bottles/sippy cups of expressed milk or formula, what should I do? 😅 We think we've tried everything except starve her out. Should I still bf her on days when I'm home? (She'll be here with her dad). I'm worried if I do this she'll go on strike the days that I'm not here... Really really appreciate any advice.

How has she taken to solids?
Will she drink water from bottle/cup?

I would give her a morning feed, and feed as soon as you get in and bedtime. Rely on food during the day - yogurt, fruit etc will help hydrate her, along with water.

I had a bottle refuser but luckily was a SAHM.

Thanks so much for replying! She's having fun playing with solids, but not getting a huge amount in. It almost seems like she only ever swallows by accident 🤦‍♀️ and she insists on self feeding, she refuses the spoon from us in the same way she refuses bottles and cups. Nope, she won't take water or any liquid. A stubborn little one! What is SAHM?

She wont starve op. But yes make the most of bf when your wfh.

Yep - mine didn't like a spoon either! Or food....
SAHM - stay at home mum. I didn't have the stress of having to go back to work, but it would have been nice to have been able to go out on my own sometimes.

I think this problem will work itself out once she has no choice. If you're not there she won't starve. She's old enough to eat solids and drink milk from a variety of receptacles. I would still bf when you can. She'll adapt as will you because there le I'll be no choice and it's hard to recreate that reality until it actually comes

Hello, did you have any success in the end Sue? I returned to work this month and am having exactly the same problem with my nearly 6-month old. It's very stressful...
