Need advice on using SNS

Hi all
Needing to supplement baby and I was advised to just get sterile feeding tubes rather than fork out for a Madela SNS kit. I was just wondering if anyone here has experience with one and how you used and cleaned the tubes?

Who advised you to supplement/sterilise feeding tubes? If they are an IBCLC lactation consultant they should be able to explain fully and give you information on using sns system, how much to supplement and when to review and how to stop supplementing. Supplementing can be really important for some babies but needs to be carefully managed so a full plan put in place. (In my work we are seeing a lot of families told to top up when no need or if there is a need not being given the correct support and information to do it).
