My LO is 9 weeks old. I breast feed with the exception of a bottle of expressed milk at night my husband gives her.
She is literally feeding for hours. I can't even say it's an hour between feeds as she is on one side for easily upto 45 mins then the next and then back to the first again. Its been like this for weeks. I take her out a walk just to get a reprieve. I know she is transferring milk well as she is so alert, huge wet nappies and growing well. I've been telling myself it's a phase and will pass and she will get quicker but I feel its one step forward ten back and she's now refusing the bottle at night so it's now an all day all night affair hourly and I'm exhausted. Does anyone have advice? Or please just tell me it will pass?!

I sympathise OP, my DD was the same and it was just so so draining. She would feed from about 6pm till midnight non stop pretty much. I tried to go with the flow - got some extra comfy cushions, a side table with everything that I’d need, and found some good box sets to watch each night. I used to joke with my DH that I’d get a little bell to summon him to me if I needed anything!! Like so much it was just a phase - with DD it lasted from about 6 weeks up till about 14/16 weeks or so (I can’t remember exactly) but at the time it felt like a lifetime! Hang on in there!
