Carobel too thick for tommee tippee size 3 teats

My baby is 4.5 months old and is on carobel for reflux (2.5 scoops for 6oz). We are using tommee tippee bottles with size 3 teat but this still seems too small and it is taking him 30/40 mins to drink a bottle and he regularly can’t be bothered to drink more than half as it is too much effort.

Ive tried slightly less carobel so he can drink it easier but this is affecting his reflux and he is being sick.

Does anyone know if the variflow tommee tippee teats are faster flowing or have they had success with anything else?

thanks!

We used the mam bottles with carobel and had no issues, but were always told to make a tiny snip in the teat to make the hole larger if there was a problem with flow. You could try it with one teat, as it sounds like they’re fairly useless to you at the moment anyway.

Thanks for your response. I would worry cutting the teat could make it dangerous for bits to come off over time and choke the baby
