Stopping breastfeeding

Hi, after advice/ experiences please... my 11 month old is now almost over to formula and bottles in the day. He does one feed in the evening after work and then a couple of times overnight. Once I drop the evening feed will my body adjust ok to one or two night feeds? I'm loathed to start making up bottles at night! Grin

Yes, I’d expect that to be fine. It’s also not a problem if your 11 month old drops the nightfeeds completely. So don’t worry about that if it happens. Carry on with your plan.

Yup, your body should adjust. From 12M I fed DD usually twice a day, with no night feeds at all from 13M and continued to do so for another 10M. My boobs went very soft once I cut down to that level, but there was still milk there.

I'm currently doing one breastfeed a day and have been for about 3 months and have no issues. I kept the morning feed as a breastfeed as I don't like getting up first thing to make a bottle and it's a change to snuggle
