i normally give dd a bottle as her last feed of the night,i started doing that at 4/5 months, she is 7 months old now.

i have been giving sma rtf, but i brought some cow and gate rtf as they didnt have any sma in my local shop.

when i looked at the ingredients it says fish !

what the hell! why does baby milk contain fish?
which do you think the best rtf formula is?

im getting more passionate about bf now so i might try and knock this last bottle feed on the head esp when dd is having more food

For the Omega 3 or 6 which helps with brain development. The same as giving eyeQ or similar.

So really there is no problem in giving it to her. It's the oil which is commonly used as a dietary supplement, not ground up bones or anything.

I was a bit taken aback by that too!

Also not impressed that (I think) Heinz has started putting it in their tinned spaghetti shapes - used to make quite an easy once a week lunch for DD, but not now! (Veggies, btw).

Ours prefer to get their omega 3 from smoked salmon...

I prefer to give ds organic flax seed oil each morning (wonderful for skin too).
