Baby unsettled after are feed

Just everyone!

Our LO is 5 weeks old today.

Has no problem feeding. Was advised to put her on SMA comfort for constipation - still feeds fine! 4oz (I feed on demand) she 99% of the time takes the whole 4oz - takes a little more effort to burp her. But the last feed around 10pm she burps etc and afterwards is just so unsettled. Has infacol before each feed also. Screaming the place down, you can see she's tired also, is soothed with lower back rubs sometimes but usually has us up till 6:30 with her being unsettled... no problem during the day... but after this feed, why is it like this??

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

It could be colic. Have you tried adding Dentinox to the bottles?

If she's draining the 4 floz bottles, have you tried offering 5 floz?

My 4 week old little boy is exactly the same after every feed after 4pm!

We are going to try offering him more once he’s finished his bottles tonight to see whether that’s the problem. He’s on 5oz already though and mostly draining them. He does some big burps afterwards but even that doesn’t seem to settle him. It doesn’t help that he doesn’t really like being cuddled. He only likes to be held sitting up on your knee.

He’s been like this for about 5 days and we have been resorting to sticking him in the car and driving round for an hour looking at Christmas lights at 7pm because by that point we are getting frustrated and he is at least getting 45 mins of sleep then.

He’s a happy little man until 4pm comes around. He’s been lying on his mat after his feed smiling and shouting and having a great time this morning

I changed her milk and she's like a new baby! Also totally feeding on demand now and she's eating more, finally pooping and is sleeping for longer stretches!!

I changed her to kendamil milk 🥰
