Breastfeeding and AF

Hi everyone,

DD is 1 year now. 5 weeks ago I had my first AF, very heavy, but normal duration for me. My cycle is approximately 32 days. This month at 34 days I started with a very light bleed, but a barely there type, where only noticeable when you wipe and pinkish in colour. Is this normal for returning of AF? Is it likely implantation bleed given it was day 34? We use withdrawal/condoms (tmi, sorry!) if that makes a difference.
forgot to say, breastfeeding averaging 6-7 times in 24 hours. Has been more this week as DD has been really poorly in hospital
thank you X

breastfeeding and af returning is so different for everyone. could be normal, could be implantation. only way to know is test

Anything anyone here says would just be a stab in the dark. The only way to know if you are pregnant is to do a test (one now, and if negative then another in perhaps 2 weeks).
Sorry to hear about your DD being unwell in hospital. I really hope she feels better soon.

For a while I had one really heavy, one normalish the next month and then on the third Monday it would be really light. It seemed to go in a3 month cycle like that until I either got PG again or finally gave up BFing and being PG for good Grin

It could well have been stress, it can affect us sometimes more than we realise Flowers
