Breaking the feed-to-sleep habit

Hiya. 10mo EBF baby feeds to sleep for every nap and bedtime. I'm getting ready to stop breastfeeding her at about 1 and am really nervous about putting her to sleep. It's the only method that works and she sleeps amazingly so I'm really not looking forward to the fight.

Any tips on how to move away from feeding to sleep?

We used songs to help us switch over. Three songs in the same order before each nap/sleep and he associated that with sleep. Took a few months but worked for us. He's 3.5 now and we still sing the same songs at night. Good luck!

Will she have her morning nap in her pram with just her dummy but no boob?
I have a DS the same age and am trying to break the same connection (bottle fed now). Started with morning nap, then lunchtime, now working on night waking. That's proving to be the trickiest.

She refuses dummies and is far too excited about being outside to nap in a pram 😂 I'll try songs, that might help!

@WineIsMyCarb boob/bottle is just so much easier! But I suppose it's the best thing for them ultimately, imagine if we only went to bed with a bottle of milk...
