So first off my 15m DS is ebf, but only feeds to sleep and sometimes I'm not sure he's even taking much milk. He does still wake at night fairly often and is bf back to sleep.
Our weaning journey has been amazing, i'm a FTM and I've followed lots of BLW groups/pages/accounts online. He has literally never refused any food. I thought by his age we would be tackling food refusals, appetite starting to slow down, but it seems to be the opposite. He will eat everything and anything, seems to always be up for food, and eats way more than I expected.
I am EXTREMELY grateful and feel blessed that I have such a good eater so this is in no way a boast or brag. At what age should I start to question or concern the amount and frequency he is eating? Or expect his appetite to reduce?

Does your GP or any other healthcare professional who has seen him made any negative comments about his weight?

If not then don't worry about it.

They self regulate at this age. He’s fine.

Hahahaha sorry to laugh but both of mine were like this until about 2. Then by the age of 4 theyd only basically eat pizza or fish fingers!

LostMumofTwo · 31/10/2022 15:12

Honestly don't worry just enjoy him eating anything and everything! Like @Dipsy12 said he will reach the age on 2/3 and survive on a diet of fish fingers. Although mine will eat anything and everything at nursery when he's with his friends 🙄

Agree that they self regulate at this age. Unless he's going up through the weight centiles, I'd just enjoy it.

The one baby in the family who was always like this is a head chef now. He's just always loved food Halloween Wink

I’ve had two children who were blw and weaned like a dream and never refused to eat anything. I found DD states to eat a lot less at 3. DS is 2.5 is in 3/4 clothes as he is tall and broad. He will now push away his place when he is full.
