2nd baby- prepare for CMPA?

Hi all
38 weeks pregnant with DC2. DD1 was a CMPA baby and was in so much pain after feeds that she developed a bit of an aversion to my breast before we finally figured out what was going on. Really want to avoid the same thing happening again- do I cut dairy out in preparation for DC2's arrival, or wait and see how they are once they start feeding?

Wait. My dc1 was CMPA and DC2 isn’t

Zero helpful advice I'm afraid, only that should I be lucky enough to concieve again, I'll be in the same boat. My daughters CMPA heavily harmed our breastfeeding and I do wonder what the chance of a repeat is! So essentially here to hear the experience of others!

No personal experience but the family I know that a baby had CMPA had 3 children and only the 1 had it.

My 1st had issues, my 2nd very severe issues and 3rd none. I was v surprised. It really depends on baby but I was well prepared and looking out for early signs
