gurgling rumbling tummy

in a breast feed baby does this mean he is hungry or is it something else like his tummy is sore, sometimes it gurgles prior to a "due" time and sometimes quite soon after a feed, he himself has stopped.
btw he is 18wks and 18lb.

to a "due" feed time

hermykne - it means nothing. Stick your ear next to anyone's stomach and you will hear gurglings and alarming rumblings from time to time and often more frequently than that. A baby doesn't have a hugh amount of fat over his tummy, so you hear it rather more loudly

If his tummy is sore he will cry.
