Aldi baby food infested with multiple Troyes of bugs in both sealed and unsealed packaging. We have reported to trading standards but these products are still being sold in their hundreds/ probably thousands until a product recall has been done so please spread this message to mums, dads, grandparents and careers help make sure no LOs get sick. I’ve attached a letter regarding my local store but this is an issue stemming from further down the supply chain so is not specific to just my local store.
two important points:
we don’t yet no which baby products may not be effected - ie produced at a different facility to the ones found to be contaminated. this is not isolated to one specific product or batch
some instances it’s really obvious but other instances dead maggots disguised in rice products are not that obvious unless you go looking. be very weary about buying or feeding already purchased Aldi baby food to your LOs.
