Bottle making with a 3 storey house

My fiancé and I are having our first child, due this winter.

We are planning to bottle feed (please do not question this) and are wondering what other parents do with bottle making while living in a town house that is 3 storeys.

We are looking at a perfect prep machine (or similar). Would it be best to keep this up in our bedroom for night time feeds and then just use kettle for day time feeds? Do we buy two prep machines and keep one upstairs and one down? Don't really want to be running up and down the stairs all day / night.

Thanks 😊

We take a flask of hot water with us to bed, 3 bottles and powder already measured out in pots.

It saves a lot of time having to go downstairs!

Just make sure the water is the right temp and have some cold boiled water in another bottle just incase :)

We had 2 perfect Prep machines, one in the kitchen on the ground floor and one on the top floor in baby’s bedroom.

We only used the one upstairs for the night feeds.
baby was sleeping in our room at the time so it didn’t disturb her when I’d go in to her room to use the machine.

We just had to remember to take bottles upstairs before we went to bed!

I used ready-made at night and had clean bottles and little bottles of formula up in our bedroom. We also live in a very tall thin house.

Ready made, even better of you can get them to drink it at room temp

Ready prep in kitchen and bedroom, it was a life saver for night feeds and chilled morning feeds in bed

Buy two machines - problem solved - and while you are getting organised - sort out two changing stations - one upstairs and one downstairs.

We have a 5 month old and a 3 storey house. We had 1 perfect prep to begin with in the kitchen but soon bought another for our bedroom!xx

We slept on the middle floor of our townhouse when DC were teeny 😳

(not just because of night feeds, various reasons - but it did make life easier!)

We have prep upstairs and use kettle downstairs. With our first we just used to take the prep upstairs on a night and back down in a morning :) you can get them super cheap on marketplace so you could possibly get 2!

I don't live in a 3 storey house but I do have a prep machine upstairs in the bedroom and a second one downstairs in the living room. It's made things a lot easier for us!

In a tall house you want duplicates of as much as possible in my view. Definitely two changing stations, two prep machines sounds sensible (or at the very least move yours up and down at night), keep some spare outfits downstairs etc etc

We just take the perfect prep machine up to bed when we go to bed and down again in the morning. Saves the cost of buying two!
