how often do you get your dc weighed at 7 months plus?

just wondering as dd hasn't been weighed, since before xmas, she's nearly 7 months now

ds 8 months. had him weighed two weeks ago, (first time for about 5 weeks). is gaining weight fine and eating well so will prob leave it longer until next time.
(i.e. when i think about it or am free at the right time!)

Um. Every 6 months or so. In fact haven't been for 8 months now.

Unless there is a specific concern there shouldn't be any need to weigh a child over 7 months. I am going back to work soon so my dd will not get weighed again unless I have any concerns.

well I think gecko was 7 monhts the last time I had her weighed
she is 1 in two ish weeks

no need if your not concerned

6 months or so unless any concerns, imo

is this what most people do? alot of people i know in real life say they go every week or fornight and i thought thats just what most people do with newborns

DD was weighed at six months. Hasn't been since - she's 15 months now. She's fine. Guess the next one will get even more shoddy treatment because I'm busy doing more important things than being patronised by HV.

I'm glad I'm not alone in not going to get dd weighed. She's 13m and hasn't been weighed since 8m check. I had a friend who went weekly. I couldn't help feeling inadequate at the time. Then I realised love isn't knowing how many lbs my dd has put on in a week.

DS was weighed weekly/fortnightly for the first couple of months, then monthly up to four months or so, then not again until his 8 month check, then not again at all after that (he's 3 now).

DD will only be weighed at her standard checks unless I think there's a problem.

DS was weighed about 3 times between 6 & 8 months as he had lost weight when he first started solids & I just wanted to keep an eye on him...but after he gained again I didn't bother as he was obviously fine...think I got him weighed once when he was 18 months or so after we moved to a new area & I wanted to suss out the HV...but he hasn't been weighed at clinic since (he is 3.5 yrs now).
