Breast and bottle

Not sure where to post this but just after some advice or if it has happened to anyone else and what they did.

Baby is mostly breastfed but has a bottle at night and occasionally in day if I am away from baby for a longer period of time but this isn't often at all. This will either be formula or breast milk.

When baby nurses he is always brings up a fair amount and it's every single time (straight after and even an hour after) but when he has a bottle hardly any comes up or none at all.

My latch was checked via video and apparently is pretty good so I'm unsure what else could be the cause?! He burps well.

I don't want to stop breastfeeding but obviously want the best for my little boy. He is 15 weeks old and doesn't seem to be in pain with it.

At a lost with what to do Sad

If he burps well and doesn’t seem to be in discomfort I wouldn’t worry about it. Do you feed on demand?

Yeah I feed on demand but sometimes find it hard to read his hunger signs so wonder if I force him as such! Now feel stuck in a rut with it all.

I panic more as one week he didn't put much weight on. He has jumped back up and following his percentile but think I'm overly cautious and paranoid with under feeding him!!

No if anything we burp him less with the bottle. Don't know if it being night time and him more sleepy/relaxed makes a difference.

If he's happy then it's just a laundry issue. I've had two pukey babies. DD1 grew out of it by six months so I imagine DD2 will do the same. Could just be consistency of breast milk v formula, that he takes more breast milk via comfort sucking, or just one of the mysteries of babies!
