how to swim - while bf??

what do you do about the leakng??stupid qu alert!

i went swimming with ds when he was 8wks and had no leaking....to be honest i fed him about an hour before we went swimming, and we were only in the water about 20-30mins....so there wasn't enough time for my breasts to be so full they leaked....

i've never had any problems, but then am not particularly leaky in general.

No one would notice even if you did leak, you will be wet anyway.

Just remember to take your breast pads out, I jumped in the pool on holiday forgetting I had pads on, got out of the water feeling like Pammy Anderson

I swim regularly and am Bf'ing but I don't leak much anyway. My friend who leaked a lot says that Lily pads are the best things. Silicone breast pads that can be worn whilst swimming.

I have never heard of anyone leaking in the pool . No one would see, anyway, and even if they did, so what? They'd have to be right up close and peering at the water, and there would be a slight cloudiness I imagine and nothing else.

I read the title of this thread and I thought you meant feeding whilst swimming - I think this is DSs dream !
I've never leaked in the pool, and as others have said, don't think anyone would notice.

maybe in the showers afterwards though?

I've heard of people using lilypadz when they go swimming. I've avoided taking DD until now because of the same fear!

We have mixed communal showers, so not there either ! I have dressed him whilst he is feeding when I made the tactical error of taking my swimming costume off and putting a towel on before dressing him. Now I dress him (and freeze myself) before releasing him to wander the ladies group changing room begging biscuits from other people and eyeing women up for num num possibilities.

thanks all - think i'll go with the 'no-one will notice and who cares' theory

i use lilypadz purely because i still leak 10 months into bfing and when my nipples are hard they stick out about an inch!! not good when leaving the pool
