5 week old not pooping ?!

Hi all

My 5 week old hasn't had any sign of a poop since 12am last night. Now 6:45 pm

She is feeding well and still weeing?! Is she just starting to hold her bowl movements more now?

Would appreciate any advice x

Would gripe water help? not half as much as popping them back on the breast.

Have you spoken to your Health Visitor or called your GP?

You def shouldn't be giving your baby grape water as their digestive symptom can't handle anything but milk or formula at the moment.
I've breast fed my baby and she's 5months now. She's never gone a day without poo'ing but I know for some babies it's not uncommon. If she's uncomfortable then speak to a medical profession.

Thanks @New2TheMNet the gripe water suggests it can be used from 1 month old but yes I was a bit skeptical of it. I will be ringing my gp first thing tomorrow morning just to get an opinion on this only as she has seemed more uncomfortable today.
