Hi All

Looking for help. Baby girl is 8 weeks old and was on cow n gate and did not agree with her ( Sick a lot ) so was advised to move to SMA anti reflux by friends and this worked a treat for 3 weeks but then baby become very constipated and had really smelly wind and then had explosions every 3-4 days of really dark green poo. Was advised this could be down to milk so we have moved on to kendamil and poo has gone back to " normal colou, yellow " however, she is being sick more often and quite violent. Not after every feed but every 2/3. Now the weather is over 30 degrees so this may be a factor but do you think it could be the milk which is not agreeing ( Day 2 of tryinf kendamil ) so could just be getting used to it. We did use MAM bottles and size 2 teet for the SMA milk as was thicker but we found when using this on the kendamil the baby was losing a lot of the milk as flowing to quick so changed to teet size 1 and seemed to work. Just want to give my wife piece of mind and any help would be greatly appreciated. It could well be a number of factors such as the extremely warm weather and new milk and hopeuflly sick episodes will slow down as she wasnt sick off SMA anti reflux.

Many thanks

I should say she hiccups a lot. Not sure if this is normal or could be silent reflux?

It could be an allergy to cow's milk protein. Have you spoken to your HV?

BTW this thread seems to be in Classics. I've messaged. MNHQ so they can move it to the correct board; you'll get more help.
