mum vomiting

I've just woken up for a midnight feed but have vomotied a lot instead. I haven't touched the baby. Sjhould I refrain from bf until morning / I'm sure I'm better?

When dd was 8days old I came down with an awful tummy bug that lasted 2 days - midwife told me it was ok to carry on feeding (just as well really as I couldnt get out of bed, so we just cuddled up for 2 days together)

Not sure if this is the correct advice but in my instance dd was fine

I had horrendous diarrhoea / cramps for a week before Christmas, Susie, (maybe norovirus? who knows)

Kept feeding on through it, in bed lying down. Baby was fine.

I think best to carry on feeding as the bm will hopefully contain antibodies to fend off the tummy bug.
