Breastfeeding after a night out (the next day)

I had my first evening away from my 8 month old last night…i drank quite a lot and slept in the spare room and husband coslept with baby. I’ve got plenty of frozen milk but wondering how long I have to wait till I can feed her today? Advice seems to be conflicting online and I’m really engorged and expressing doesn’t seem to be working very well!

i had about 5 beers and two single vodkas so a fair bit. I went to a daytime event so started drinking around 4 and finished at midnight

You’ll be absolutely fine to feed as normal today

My IBCLC said I was fine to feed the next day as normal and generally, once you feel sober you're fine. I think I actually fed about 8 hours after my last drink.

I was always told that if you’re fit to drive you’re fit to feed x
