We have used aptamil comfort with our little girl (10 weeks on Saturday) for the past 5weeks or so because she used to really struggle with wind and scream in pain after a bottle for around 40 minutes. It did really help and she is much more settled.
Now she doesn’t ever seem to finish a full bottle and is eating every 3 hours but only like 2/3oz. She is also having a fair bit of spit up/ thick white sick or clear spit up that looks like dribble. Could it be that she needs to come off the comfort milk now her stomach has matured?
We have used a few ready made aptamil first milk today because we’ve been out which she has taken well and taken 4oz on each feed. Could her stomach have been filling quicker on comfort milk as it’s thicker? Therefore not taking as much initially but needing more sooner?
Also her poo on this milk is army green and there’s lots of it. A big explosion every day!
Anyone else have any experience with comfort milk? Thank you!
