Just wondering if anyone has any insight to this.
my baby is 14 weeks old, his milk has been changed a few times. His recent food was aptimal comfort and he was having green light paste poops which is normal for comfort food. We changed him 1 month ago to the normal aptimal food and his poops have been loose, stringy (mucos)and seedy and has been going 4 times a day. Is this normal for his age with the seeds? I think it could be a lactose intolerance or milk allergy?

If he was fine on the comfort milk I'd change him back. Mucus can often be inflammation or CMPA.

Join the main group cmpa on Facebook, I'd say a milk allergy. Ask Gp for nutramigen and trial for 6 weeks if not better then there are more broken down milks like neocate x

See we are going on holidays tomorrow and I wanted the convenience of using the pre made little bottles of Aptamil so this is why I changed him, he’s on this now since June 20th and stools are still the same. The Aptamil rep told me they don’t recommend children being on the comfort food for more than 3 months so he was due to come off it now anyway. I think it could be an allergy or an intolerance as it’s not going pasty
