Going from EBF to combi feeding a 4mo

My 4month old is EBF but due to sleep deprivation (4 month sleep regression and a toddler who also doesn't sleep well) I am struggling to function and thinking of combi feeding so my husband can help out more. I don't really know where to start with this though as I have always just fed on demand and not needed bottles/to sterilise etc. Does anyone have any advice on how to adjust to combi feeding/what bottles etc to get? (I hope they will accept the bottle). I would still like the majority of feeds to be breast fed though. Thanks all

I just stared giving a bottle when they wanted a feed at about 10pm, in the hope they would sleep a bit longer.

I'd just get any bottle to try, if you start trying to get the "best bottle for a bf baby" you'll drive yourself insane. Also, make sure there's an age appropriate test on there, some people try the newborn test and that rarely works

Also, prepare yourself for the fact that they're unlikely to guzzle down a big bottle. BF babies of this age take around 25floz a day, so if it's been 3 hours since they last fed, they're unlikely to take more than 3floz.

Doing swapping a feed at around 10 pm sounds like a good idea as, if you've got a DH/DP they can do this feed and you can sleep Wink
