14 week old baby crying and gagging during feeds

Hi I really need help! My 14wo has been struggling with feeds over the last few weeks. He has started crying, fussing, kicking his legs and arms about during most feeds during the day. He is on ebm via mam bottles and TT bottles. Ive tried changing the teats to a bigger size, changed bottles, used colic drops, used infant gaviscon, tried standing up and feeding, tried rocking whilst feeding, singing etc but nothing is helping. I have took him to gp twice but they cant seem to see he has any visible problems so ive given up. Have resorted to feeding whilst he sleeps now. He is generally a happy baby but as soon as the bottle is in his mouth he sucks it for a while then starts screaming. I wind him during feeds too but that hasn't helped either. He's hungry for the milk but refuses it for some reason, seems like he's in pain or something? I'm feeding him every 2.5 to 3.5 hours on average. This started all of a sudden in the last 3 weeks. No problems with taking milk from bottle before that.

Hi this sounds like reflux I hAd it with my daughter as if milk was hurting when she was feeding, take back the doctors to discuss omeparazole as my daughter was much better and taking bigger bottles

We had this and it was reflux. A milk thickener (Carobel) sorted it out.

It could also be CMPA or another allergy. They develop over time. You could do a trial of a soy and cows milk free formula for a week and see of it helps, then if you want to keep bf, you change your diet to eliminate the allergens.
