Hi,
My milk came in after a few days and I had large lumpy breasts that would leak. Today (day 7) it is as if All my milk has disappeared over night, by breast are soft and normal with no leaking ?!

I’ve carried on today as I have done all week ans baby doesn’t seem any different today, plenty of wet and dirty nappies and seems happy after a feed.

Does anyone think that sounds normal or so I need to try and get some help?!

If baby is satisfied and has wet/dirty nappies as normal then no need to worry. Your breasts settle down once they get used to a feeding routine. You might have had an oversupply, hence the lumps and leaking, that has now regulated itself based on how your baby is feeding.

That sounds normal to me. That's exactly what mine did and I was paranoid that my milk had stopped but still going strong with breastfeeding my daughter and she's 10 months old now.

Large lumpy and leaking is engorged, they're not supposed to stay/be like that long term, only when milk is just coming in or baby hasn't fed in quite a long time.

Sounds normal - like your supply has adjusted and settled. When baby has a growth spurt they will feed a lot (like all evening!!!) and increase the supply - the more they feed the more milk you'll make. Sometimes it feels like you don't have enough but as long as your baby is feeding and doing lots of nappies/putting on weight then all is well!

It's normal. Feeling a bit engorged when the milk first comes in, and then that settling after a few days happened to me both times and it's fine. Just enjoy the comfort and lack of lumpy hard boobs!

Sounds like your milk has regulated quite fast. You might still get engorged when you've not fed for a while though.

Thank you so much for all your kind advice :)

We’re still going! Seems so strange as it feels as though there’s nothing there but there’s more than enough dirty nappies and lots of wet so I guess she has what she needs. Hopefully the weigh in goes well :)

thank you again x
