she hardly tried anything now!

I have an 8 month old too. Are you offering just spoon feeding or are you allowing them to have finger food so they can feed themselves? My DC prefers eating solids, like toast and fruit rather than anything puréed. It just clicked one day after a slow start.

Same, mine is eight months and won’t be spoon fed at all, point blank refuses. Very good with finger food and will try lots of things though. Loves toast so a lot of his food has toast as a base.

it’s a cringe cliche but it’s true- food before one is just for fun.

Is she actually putting things in her mouth? My niece would just spit things out. When she was still doing this at 1 my sister found out she had a pervasive muscle weakness making it hard to chew and swallow. Not saying this is your problem but there may be a reason like stomach pain or whatever so perhaps get it checked out if your baby won't eat anything.

I have a friend who had exactly the same problem at exactly the same age, she just kept persisting with him and one day (before 1) it all just clicked and now he’s a fab eater! Just keep doing what you’re doing, I’m sure it’ll work out :)

Mainly finger foods! :)

Totally normal, mine weren't that interested until about 9/10 months and then it clicked. Just keep offering and keep expectations low. I would also recommend following srnutrition on Instagram very helpful.
