I'm mostly breastfeeding my 4 month DD with 1 bottle in the evening recently (last month or so) to wean off the boob before I go back to work in a few months. She hates the one bottle, it's usually formula but I've tried pumped milk as well as she just refuses it and just claws for boob.
She usually drinks between 60 to 90ml (out of 150 ml I make up) formula before screeching the house down and claws for boob. How can I encourage her to drink more even for the 1 (or perhaps 2 feeds)? Any ideas? It's been one month of trying the one bottle and I haven't been able to change her behaviour.
I taste tested the formula against my own boob and mine is definitely sweeter and I am on plant based diet myself. So I don't really eat dairy at all - would this affect her preference? ( In terms of brands, Was on aptamil and now kendamil, no difference in how much she hates both)
