Just wondering if anyone has had this when breastfeeding and can suggest any solutions? My baby is 5 days old and when she latches on the pain is excrutiating. My nipples aren't cracked and her latch is good - it's been checked my every midwife we come across, so I don't think that nipple cream or breast shields are the answer. It is more a terrible bruised feeling around the areolas but with no visible issue on the surface. My baby does have a tongue tie that I'm trying to get sorted, but as I say, her latch looks good. Any thoughts would be really gratefully received!
