BF, teeth, discomfort - any advice?

DD is 9 months, has 2 bottom teeth and very VERY nearly has 2 top teeth. We've had a pretty easy ride as far as BF goes, very few problems to start with, and only a couple of blocked ducts along the way. I really don't want to stop BF.

However, things are starting to get a little less comfortable now her top teeth are nearly through. She's not biting (or very rarely, and more of a nip when she's done and getting bored), but while she's feeding it can feel as though I'm a bit bruised - and it doesn't ease off through the feed.

Is this something I should be worrying about? I know advice when starting BF is that it may be uncomfortable while latching on, but the discomfort should disapear - but does that hold for teething?

I can see things getting more "interesting" once the teeth actually make it so I'd rather get a head start on any incipient problems.

Any advice appreciated

Tangle - when my ds got his top teeth, things got very uncomfortable with bf-ing for a while, and it was because he was being lazy with his latch and his top teeth were grazing my breast. What helped us was adjusting his latch each time, making sure that he had as much breast in his mouth as possible, and no teeth!! hope that helps a wee bit...
