Ranitidine - before or after feeds?

My DW has asked me to post, as she is internetually-challenged at the moment!
Our DS is suffering a bit with reflux, so has been prescribed Ranitidine. However, the doctor didn't state (and from the sounds of it, probably wouldn't know), and the pharmacist didn't know either, whether Ranitidine should be given before or after a feed. Or I guess even during.
Can anyone help, please?

We gave before feeds. This was what the nurses did in SCBU - also much easier if your baby falls asleep whilst feeding! Not a medical professional though. Hope the ranitidine is helping.

Hi

I was told to give before feeds. He was quite happy to take it then as well. he eventually got excited at seeing the syringe- not sure if it was the thought of the milk to come or the alcohol in the stuff!

Worked well for a while but is quite dose dependant- if he suddenly puts on weight and the reflux symptoms start again check if the dose needs to go up.

Best of luck with it.
