I have very painful boobs and my let down is really painful. I get stabbing pains in my breast sometimes after feeds and sometimes during feeds. I went to a breast feeding support group yesterday and the midwife suggested it might be thrush. My ds (5 weeks) does not appear to have any white spots in his mouth - but is very windy and fretful at times. This is my second baby - so I know its not cracked nipple pain or engorgemnt pain...

Printing off the pdf is an excellent idea because it gives the docs the right dosage and everything.

Similar to previous story above, I had to go back for more too to get rid of it. It really is a stubborn thing once it really takes hold.

And I agree - its completely awful and very few really understand it (took until I saw a female doc who had had it herself before I felt someone actually understood it!!!). She actually kept my leaflet for future reference and said she would share it with the other doctors in the surgery
