Formula for constipation

Hi there my LO is 6 weeks old and is BF. However as I struggled with supply issues I’ve been advised to supplement with formula if needed. My LO doesn’t have much formula - perhaps 90ml over 24 hours - but I find it she does have formula she gets really uncomfortable and constipated. I use cow and gate. But wonder can someone recommend a more gentle formula that would be good for babies who suffer with constipation? Thanks!

All formulas are pretty much the same, it's more difficult for them to digest than breastmilk so can make some babies a bit constipated.

My DD does still suffer occasionally but was much worse on cow and gate. She's now on aldi milk which I'll be honest I only changed due to the £4 a tin difference but she's great on it

The ready made formula can help with constipation, it's more expensive but if she's only having a little then could be worth a try.
