Stopping breastfeeding

Recently posted about stopping breastfeeding my youngest but we appear to of gotten no-where with it.

I want to stop breastfeeding my 13 week old. All the advice says to drop a feed every few days, but I don’t understand how I’m meant to drop a feed completely when he only takes a bottle of formula maybe 30% of the time. Even when he takes it, he only takes 1-3oz, but 1-2oz is more regular.

Has anyone managed to stop breastfeeding a 3 month old who isn’t a fan of formula? I don’t want to carry on, I breastfed my middle until he turned 1 and despite everyone saying it gets easier after they turn 6 months, I didn’t find that it did and grew to absolutely hate it by the end. I don’t want to do it again. I just don’t know where to go next?!

Thanks!

Try kendamil formula

I second Kendamil Organic specifically.

If the baby wants milk and you keep presenting freshly made Kendamil at the right temperature, they will get used to it. Make sure the teet is for the right age.

I’ve got the classic kendamil, he actually took it really well the first few times but now turns his nose up at it. Is the organic one a different taste? I hate milk it makes me cringe so I’ve never tried it haha

Hi all I'm new to this, I have a 2 year old who Co sleeps with me and breast feeds almost all night the moment I turn over to get some sleep she awakes me so I'm disturbed all night. I cannot stress at how tired I am and how I try to refuse the breast but can't deal with night screams. Has anyone been through this? Can I take medication to dry it all up while I'm still breast feeding? I have contacted my doctor but just looking for some mums advise as it's getting me down now. Thanks
