bottle refusal

My daughter is 5.5 months old and we waited too long before trying to introduce a bottle and she's just not having it. We've been trying on and off for months - different brands of bottles, different people feeding her, different times of the day.
She won't nap on the go so I can't leave the house with her for more than an hour or so and if I leave the house without her she'll need feeding pretty soon after:( I'm basically housebound with a clingy baby who won't let me put her down and I'm going insane!
Does anyone have any experience with this, or any tips I haven't tried? Is there a type of cup she'd be able to figure out how to use pretty soon?
Or am I just doomed?:/

Will she drink from a tomee tippee free flow cup? Or off a spoon?

It’s strange that she won’t nap on the go. Most babies would rather sleep in a pram or car seat or sling than sleep in their cot.

From 6 months she can also have solids and water while you are away. If she enjoys sucking on wet washcloths and bath sponges then that’s another way to keep her hydrated.

My friend has had some success with this

No advice just sympathy as I have a 9 month bottle refuser who isn't great at napping on the go either Flowers

Following with interest as I'm also going slowly loopy...

I forgot I even posted this thread!🤦‍♀️ Thanks for the replies, I'll start with the tommee tippee cup and might try the mam one after, if that fails!
@summersun29 at least I'm not the only one suffering! Mine just stays awake in the car until she's screaming from overtiredness😭 I'll update after I try the cups:)

Update: She's 7 months now and we've finally succeeded! By some miracle she has taken to the tommee tippee closer to nature bottle!!!!

She'd always refused that and every other brand since birth so I have no idea why she's changed her mind but I am ECSTATIC.
Anyway, I thought I'd post here in case anyone else is in the same situation. Maybe she just needed a break from trying the bottles. Either way, I'm off out tonight for my first evening out since before she was born and I couldn't be happier.
