Who gave my baby amphetamines? I hope this fussing is just a phase!

My BF 4 month old DD is driving me crazy and is hurting me too. She's fussing at the breast a LOT (tugging, fussing, looking around, latching on and off). I'm guessing because she's distracted or having (yet another) growth spurt - have any of you experienced this? Or maybe it's because we were away over xmas and her sleeping/eating patterns were disrupted. I'm at the end of my tether, I suppose I'd just like reassurance that it will pass.

I'm also worried that she'll damage my nipples and that the thrush will return.

I have a stinking cold and the prospect of feeding fills me with dread. She's begun feeding more at night again too. I'm just totally exhausted and feeling a bit depressed.

hi naturelover, my 2 month old has started doing this too and it bloody hurts. I can remember ds1 doing it too, but it did pass.
with ds2 I tend to take him off if he is twisting too much because it is painful for me. we sometimes have to have a little break and a burp and then he'll settle down again

it will pass though i'm sure.
