8 week old weighing 5.2kg eating around 28-30oz per day - does this seem okay?

Been getting a little worried he's not eating enough he doesn't tend to cry for feeds but having been looking for other signals and generally feeding him 5oz every 3-4 hours during the day. However from around 8:30pm he tends to not wake for a feed until sometimes 5-6am should I be concerned him going so long without a feed?

I also see on his growth chart at his last visit he was on 50 centile though out however he is now just sitting below this line - gp didn't mention any concerns... just wanting to know what your babies feedings like hoping it will be similar so I can relax!!

My experience this is what my wee one was like at that age now 9 month old . When my wee one was finishing all her bottles i would start putting and an extra oz in the bottle that way it was there if she was wanting it. I would defo not be concerned they will let you know if they are needing more and thats great to have them sleeping like that at night as they say a sleep is just is good as a feed . Never woke my wee one up at night and still sleeps from about 6pm to 7am

Sounds absolutely perfect. He's about 11.5 lbs and they usually say that they need 2.5 floz per pound in weight in 24 hours Smile
