Is it possible to co sleep and night wean?

My 12 month old wants to latch on over 10 times a night and also wants to stay latched on. I’m sooo tired of this now and feel uncomfortable due to the awkward position.

Is it even possible to co sleep and night wean?

I've seen posts in here where people have achieved it but I did move mine to their own room, I must admit.

Once they were in their own room I didn't might wean for a while as they went from latching every hour or so to waking one or twice for a good feed and then going back off to sleep.

I'm sure someone will be along soon who has co-slept and night weaned though Smile

How are you getting on now @Hope54321?

@BunnyRuddington

How are you getting on now *@Hope54321*?
I’ve gone from baby latching on all night to now just one feed around 5am. When he does wake all other times I just hum and pat him back to sleep.

That sounds like good progress, especially if he's going back to sleep after the 5am feed Smile
