Sterilising pumps and bottles?

My nipples have gotten too sore and I'm having to resort to pumping and bottle feeding breast milk. How often should I sterilise bottles and pump equipment? I've been doing it every feed/ pump at the moment so it feels like a full time job!!!

Once a day is fine if it's just BM. If you've got a dishwasher they'll be fine in there.

Are you getting any support for your sore nipples @showersandflowers? Smile

Your nipples might be sore because the baby isn't latching on properly. Sometimes getting some advice is a game changer. And yes I agree with the other mumsnetter- stick it in the dishwasher after rinsing it out. Once a day sterilization should be fine xx
Good luck honey- it's crap isn't it- but you can do this x
