How to stop breastfeeding?

Hi everyone I was wondering if any of you have got any tips on how to stop breastfeeding... my little one is 4 months old and I would like to stop however I can't seem to be able to 😆.
Have started today reducing feeds and replacing with formula ... is there anything else that you did that you've found useful? And how long did it take for your milk to dry up completely? TIA xxx

Exclusively expressed for DD (would have given an arm and a leg to BF normally) for a year. Took 6 months to completely stop producing milk.

Oh wow. I was thinking it would dry up in less than a month 🙈

I breastfed both of my DS and when it came to stopping I had reduced down to one feed a day. If my boobs got full and sore I would express in the shower-but only enough to relieve the pressure-you don't want to start increasing your milk again. It took a while and I still had random squirts of milk some time later, but it wasn't too bad to stop.
