Reflux

Hi all I am a new mum and over the last 3 weeks we've not had much issues with reflux or vomiting. However in the last 48 hours this seems to have become a regular thing during the day. We've tried several things and probably over analysed...

But after having had some sample Pampers newborn nappies we switched to Aldi mamia (using them downstairs while still have Pampers stash upstairs). And it seems that for some reason the new nappies seem to coincide with the reflux. We switched back to Pampers and reflux stopped... Am I imaginig this or have others experienced this too??

Now that you've mentioned.Am using Mamia nappies my baby has been making these grunting noises I don't know if it's acid reflux or difficulty in breathing has been unsettled almost all night.Calling the doctors this morning. I don't know if it's nappies related though.

That's a bit odd. Wonder what could be in the nappies or if it's how they fit?

bob1985 · 10/01/2022 08:26

i would say it's unlikely linked to the nappies. Unless they are fastening tighter?

My premature DD had terrible reflux and the consultant advised any clothes with a waistband until she grew out of it

Has anything changed within your diet (if breastfeeding) or have you changed milk brands?

Thanks for the tips. She's only in grows so no waistband and diet wise no changes. Perhaps it's just a coincidence.
