dd woke at 1, had her fill by 1.10 was asleep, she had gulped down her feed, but was so sound asleep i couldn't wind her, i tried for 30min, evenually put her down, 10mins later she woke up and was sick, so i picked her up, changed her and the sheet, she started crying and rooting so i fed her and she fell asleep, etc, etc. Upshot is I didn't get much sleep. She is 6 weeks old and breast fed, and we seem to be getting into a pattern, this is by no means the first night I have been up virtually all night, even though she rarely cries. Any ideas??

my eldest was like this. She'd feed, not wind and then vomit the whole lot back up.
Eventually I took her off the breast as she slowed down and winded her then while she was still awake. It seemed to help.

Hi, sorry you're having a rough time. 6 weeks is a classic time for a growth spurt/frequency day(s) to buid up the supply - could that be contributing?

I co-sleep with my DS most of the time and find lygin 'spoons', him on his left side, me behind helps when he's just had a feed. Rarely possets like that and often will burp lying down in that position. I doze and then when he's in a deep sleep, move out of way so he's on his back...
