5 month old feeding more at night

Hello

I have 5 month old twins and recently my boys have been draining their night time bottles. We give them a dreamfeed at 10pm and they wake at about 3am. Of course I know that's a longer stretch between meals, being 5 hours, but they used to sleep 10pm until 7am without waking. I chalked this up to 4 month sleep regression but that doesn't explain the hunger.

I'm assuming it's because they're not getting enough milk during the day, and they used to finish their daytime's bottles but now they're only drinking half of what they used to.

How can I get them to take more during the daytime? I've tried stretching their feed times out and keeping them distracted, but they still end up crying, but when I actually feed them, they're only having a snack feed.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance xx

Try big morning feed

Smaller or split 11am & 12.30om this is handy for when you start weening too

2.30 smaller bottle

5/6pm large feed

7.30 small top up

10pm big feed

Both my boys were hungry babies and started waking up hungry just before weaning started at 6 months
